Iran’s military cautions against Israeli flights near its borders

TEHRAN, June 26 (YPA) – The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces has described the movement of Israeli military aircraft near Iranian airspace as a serious security threat.

In a statement, the headquarters warned that Tehran reserves the right to respond to any hostile actions.

According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, the headquarters said in a statement on Friday that the presence and movements of Israeli occupation’s military aircraft in the airspace of certain neighboring countries in the direction of Iran constitute a direct threat to the Islamic Republic.

The statement added that if the United States is unable to restrain Israeli occupation or prevent actions that threaten Iran, Tehran will not tolerate any threat to its security and considers responding to such actions a legitimate right under its defense policy.
