BEIRUT, June 26 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement and advanced into southern Lebanon on Friday.
The National News Agency reported that Israeli vehicles and bulldozers advanced from the town of Haddatha towards the outskirts of Haris in the Bint Jbeil district, and positioned themselves in the house of Ibrahim Hijazi, carrying out a wide sweep amidst heavy drone activity.
The Haddatha Volunteer Center called on residents to exercise caution.
Since March 2, the occupation has escalated its aggression against Lebanon, targeting towns and civilians, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese.
On June 18, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the electronic signing of a memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran that included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. However, the occupation continues its daily violations of the agreement.
