Two killed in new “Israeli” aggression on south Lebanon, despite ceasefire

BEIRUT, June 24 (YPA) – Two people were killed on Wednesday following an “Israeli” airstrike targeting a car on the outskirts of the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon, completely incinerating it in a new violation of the declared ceasefire agreement.

This attack comes a day after two other individuals were killed by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in the same town. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out military operations and incursions within areas they describe as the “Yellow Line,” refusing to withdraw from positions they still control inside Lebanese territory.

Notably, since March 2, 2026, the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has resulted in the killing of 4,192 people and the injuring of 12,171 others, in addition to the displacement of over a million people, according to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
