 Civilian killed, 55 others injured in explosions in Italian Bologna

SANAA, Aug. 7 (YAP) – At least one civilian was dead and over 55 others injured in Monday when a fire broke out, followed by several explosions near the Bologna airport in northeastern Italy.

The accident occurred on the highway in the area of  Borgo Paginale, near to Bologna airport between a tanker truck carrying flammable materials and other vehicles which led to a series of explosions were heard in Bologna city, State TV quoted municipal police officer as saying.

According to preliminary information, the fire still covered a wide area of the road that had been closed.
