Death toll of ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 3980

BEIRUT, June 19 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the intense attacks launched by the Israeli occupation from midnight until Friday afternoon resulted in an updated toll of 47 martyrs and 97 wounded.

In its daily statistical report, the Ministry of Health confirmed that the total cumulative toll of the Israeli aggression from March 2nd to June 19th reached 3,980 martyrs and 12,001 wounded.

These widespread attacks and Israeli crimes come despite a senior US official’s announcement to Reuters that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah had entered into force at 4:00 PM on Friday.

These attacks also came despite the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran, which stipulated a cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon, and guaranteed the unity and sovereignty of Lebanese territory.
