BEIRUT, June 09 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army issued an evacuation order on Tuesday for the Lebanese city of Tyre, including its Christian quarter, as well as three Palestinian refugee camps: Rashidieh, Al-Bass, and Burj al-Shamali.
Earlier, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli occupation warplanes had launched airstrikes on the popular housing area in Tyre, southern Lebanon.
The Israeli military demanded that residents immediately evacuate their homes and head north of the Zahrani River, claiming that these logistical measures were in response to Hezbollah’s violation of the ceasefire agreement and its targeting of the Israeli home front, which it said was pushing Tel Aviv toward military action and away from de-escalation.
