GAZA, June 08 (YPA) – Six Palestinians were killed and several others were injured on Monday as a result of shelling and gunfire by Israeli occupation forces in various areas of the Gaza Strip, amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Medical sources reported that three citizens, including a child, were killed in an Israeli raid that targeted a gathering of citizens in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, while two civilians were killed and others were injured in an air strike that targeted tents of displaced people in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the south.
Citizen Mohammed Samir Abu Tair also died from wounds he sustained in a previous Israeli bombing of the Khan Younis camp.
Several areas of the Gaza Strip witnessed artillery shelling and gunfire from the occupation forces, in addition to the targeting of a residential apartment in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City.
Since dawn today, several field violations have been recorded, including aerial and artillery bombardment and gunfire in various areas of the Strip.
