New wave of Iranian missiles launched toward occupied Palestinian territories

TEHRAN, June 08 (YPA) – Iran launched a new wave of missiles toward the occupied Palestinian territories, Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency reported.

According to the agency, Iranian sources said the missiles targeted areas in the south and center of the occupied territories, triggering air raid sirens in those regions.

On late Sunday, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted the Ramat David airbase, which it described as “the source of attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs,” using ballistic missiles launched by the IRGC Aerospace Force.

In a statement, the IRGC declared: “In response to the extensive crimes of the usurping Zionist regime in southern Lebanon, including the massacre and mass displacement of the oppressed people of the Tyre and Nabatieh regions as well as the Dahiyeh, district of Beirut, the Ramat David Airbase—the origin of these aggressions—was hit by ballistic missiles launched by the IRGC Aerospace Force.”

Following the attack, the Zionist entity reportedly launched strikes on targets inside Iran, prompting the Iranian armed forces to respond with a new wave of missile attacks against Israeli positions.
