Zionist forces continue ceasefire violations across Gaza

GAZA, June 08 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 242nd day across various areas of the Gaza Strip, carrying out demolitions and artillery shelling in several parts of the enclave.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli artillery shelling and illumination flares struck eastern Khan Younis in southern Gaza, while smoke bombs were fired near Salah al-Din Street at the Bani Suheila roundabout east of the city.

The sources also said Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Gaza City.

On Sunday evening, four Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of killed has reached 961, with 3,020 injured and 782 recovered bodies retrieved.

Since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, the toll has reached 72,971 killed and 173,128 injured.
