Hezbollah refutes Israeli allegations of bombing UNIFIL position in Debbine as ‘complete fabrication’

BEIRUT, June 04 (YPA) – Hezbollah has denied Israeli allegations that it targeted a position belonging to the in the southern Lebanese town of Deir Dibbin, stressing that the claims by the “Israeli occupation” are part of a deliberate policy of deception and disinformation aimed at covering up its ongoing crimes, “which have become evident to the entire world”.

“The enemy’s accusation that the Resistance targeted a UNIFIL position in Debbine town and caused the death of one of its soldiers is a baseless allegation and a complete fabrication. This is particularly true given that the accusation comes from the enemy itself, which has never concealed its displeasure with the presence of international forces in southern Lebanon and its continuous efforts to limit their role, as they serve as living witnesses to its crimes, attacks, and ongoing violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty, “Hezbollah said in a statement issued on Thursday

Hezbollah reaffirmed its constant commitment to the role of UNIFIL forces in southern Lebanon within the framework of the duties entrusted to them under international resolutions, extending its deepest condolences to the leadership of the international forces and to the family of the fallen soldier, while wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
