Zionist forces continue ceasefire violations across Gaza

GAZA, June 01 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 235th day across various areas of the Gaza Strip, carrying out demolitions and artillery shelling in central and southern parts of the enclave.

Palestinian sources reported Israeli artillery shelling targeted the northeastern area of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

The same sources added that the occupation forces carried out several demolition operations east of Gaza City and east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to the Ministry of Health, since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, the total number of fatalities has reached 930, with 2,819 injuries reported. The total number of recovered bodies stands at 781.

Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 72,939, while the number of injured has reached 172,939.
