Sanaa congratulates Lebanon on ‘Liberation Anniversary’

SANAA, May 26 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister of the Sanaa government, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, has sent a congratulatory message to Ammar al-Moussawi, Head of Arab and International Relations for Hezbollah, on the occasion of ‘Lebanon’s Resistance’ and ‘Liberation Day.’

In his message, Abu Ras expressed strong appreciation for the occasion, conveying his congratulations to Hezbollah’s Head of Arab and International Relations, Ammar al-Moussawi, and through him to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, as well as to the party’s leadership, fighters, allied Lebanese factions, and the Lebanese people, on Resistance and Liberation Day, which commemorates Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000.

He also extended Eid al-Adha greetings to Hezbollah fighters stationed across various fronts in Lebanon, praising the ongoing resistance operations against Israeli occupation forces and repeated battlefield setbacks inflicted upon them.

Abu Ras said the anniversary reinforces confidence in the promise of further victories over “Israel” and its allies, adding that ongoing confrontations demonstrate the inability of the occupation army to impose control or establish a lasting presence on Lebanese territory.

He reaffirmed Yemen’s support for the Lebanese people and their resistance in confronting continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
