Palestinian Ministry of Health warns of serious, rapidly deteriorating stock of medicines, medical supplies in Gaza

GAZA, May 24 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health warned of a rapid deterioration in the stock of medicines and medical supplies in the Strip due to the continued aggression and siege, which threatens the lives of thousands of patients.

It explained that 250 kidney failure patients are at risk of having their dialysis sessions stopped due to a shortage of Bibag solution, and 8 children face a complete halt to their treatment due to a lack of filters.

In addition, the suffering of 11,000 diabetic patients has also worsened due to a severe shortage of insulin, and 110 hemophilia patients are in critical condition due to the lack of Factor treatment.

The ministry also called on international organizations to intervene urgently to provide medicines and supplies and ensure the continuation of health services in the besieged sector.
