Demonstration held in Sweden to condemn Israeli entity’s attack on Freedom Flotilla

STOCKHOLM, May 23 (YPA) – Hundreds of Sweden protesters demonstrated, on Saturday, in Odenplan Square to protest the Israeli attack on the Global Freedom Flotilla, which was heading to break the siege of Gaza.

Responding to calls from civil society organizations, the protesters demanded an immediate end to war crimes in the Gaza Strip, condemning Israel’s attack on the flotilla and the mistreatment of activists after their arrest in international waters.

Last Monday, the Israeli army attacked some 50 boats carrying 428 activists from 44 countries, arresting them all despite their humanitarian mission aimed at providing aid to Gaza and breaking the blockade.
