Death toll from Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 3,111 martyrs, 9,432 injured

BEIRUT, May 22 (YPA) – The cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon rose, on Friday, to 3,111 martyrs and 9,432 wounded, since the beginning of the latest Zionist escalation on March 2nd.

 

According to a daily statistical report from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, published by the National News Agency, the death toll from the aggression increased by 22 martyrs and 35 wounded in the past 24 hours.

 

The report stated that the number of martyrs among healthcare workers reached 123, while the number of wounded reached 273, as a result of 149 attacks by the Israeli enemy army on ambulance teams and medical personnel.

 

It noted that the Israeli aggression damaged 16 hospitals and caused the closure of three others.
