Israeli officer killed in drone explosion in southern Lebanon

LEBANON, May 17 (YPA) – The spokesman for the Israeli occupation army admitted on Saturday that one of the Zionist officers was killed during clashes in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army radio reported that the officer was killed by a Hezbollah drone explosion near the Litani River in southern Lebanon.

For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority said that the officer from the Golani Brigade was killed yesterday (Friday) when Hezbollah targeted a military force in Deir Siryan in southern Lebanon.
