GAZA, May 15 (YPA) – A Palestinian civilian was killed and five others were injured in an Israeli occupation’s airstrike targeting a residential apartment in the Rimal neighborhood, located west of Gaza City. This attack represents a continued violation of the ceasefire agreement by Israeli forces.
According to the “Sanad” news agency, local sources reported that the occupation’s aircraft bombed an inhabited apartment in the Rimal area, resulting in at least one fatality and multiple injuries.
Medical officials confirmed that the deceased and five wounded individuals were admitted to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City following the attack.
On Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, a total of 857 Palestinians have been killed and 2,486 injured due to Israeli aggression, highlighting ongoing violations of the ceasefire.
The ceasefire agreement, which came into effect on October 10 after over two years of intense conflict, has faced frequent breaches by occupation forces, undermining efforts to maintain peace in the region.
