NEW DELHI, May 15 (YPA) – The Foreign Ministers of the BRICS group of nations called on Israel on Friday to withdraw its forces from all Lebanese territory, including the five positions where it remains stationed in the south of the country.
According to Sputnik, this came in a statement issued after the group’s ministerial meeting held in the Indian capital, New Delhi.
The ministers called on the Israeli entity to abide by the agreements concluded with the Lebanese government and to completely end its military presence on Lebanese territory.
In addition, the statement stressed the necessity of withdrawing from the five areas in southern Lebanon where Israeli enemy forces are still present, within the framework of supporting the stability and sovereignty of Lebanon.
