Lebanon Health Ministry: 27 killed, 94 injured due to Israeli aggression in 48 hours

BEIRUT, May 13 (YPA) – The cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon rose on Wednesday to 2,896 martyrs, with 8,824 wounded, since the beginning of the latest Zionist escalation on March 2, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The ministry’s statistics report on victims, published by the National News Agency, stated that 27 people were killed and 94 others were injured during the past 48 hours.

Since March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of about one and a half million Lebanese citizens, most of whom are not registered in shelters.

The temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April, but the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement.
