Protest held in Sweden against continued Israeli aggression on Gaza, Lebanon

STOCKHOLM, May 10 (YPA) – The Swedish capital witnessed a protest against the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.

Participants raised Palestinian, Lebanese, and Iranian flags, and banners condemning the killing of civilians and demanding a halt to the attacks and the lifting of the siege on Gaza.

In addition, the demonstrators denounced Greece’s passive stance towards Israel’s intervention against the “Global Steadfastness Flotilla,” accusing Athens of ignoring its international obligations.

Swedish activist Dror Feiler said that Israel has expanded its occupation to include Lebanon and currently occupies 14% of its territory, halved the area of Gaza, and is preventing aid from entering amid international silence.

He emphasized that the attacks by Israel and the US against Iran violate international law, which was established after World War II to prevent the strong from attacking the weak.
