Iran submits response to latest US proposal through Pakistani mediator

TEHRAN, May 10 (YPA) – Tehran delivered its response on Sunday, through the Pakistani mediator, regarding the latest U.S. proposal aimed at ending the war.

The Iranian news agency IRNA reported that the current phase of consultations and negotiations will focus on discussing mechanisms to bring the conflict in the region to an end.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei previously stated that the Iran’s position on the American proposals would be conveyed after the necessary reviews had been completed and final conclusions reached.

On February 28, the United States and the Zionist entity launched a new military offensive against Iran that lasted for 40 days, killing thousands of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other civilian infrastructure across Iran.
