Death toll of Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 2727 martyrs

BEIRUT, May 07 (YPA) – The cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon rose on Thursday to 2,727 martyrs and 8,438 wounded, since the beginning of the latest Zionist escalation on March 2nd.

According to a daily statistical report from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, published by the National News Agency, the death toll from the aggression increased by 12 martyrs and 85 wounded in the past 24 hours.

Since March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens, most of whom are not registered in shelters.

It is noteworthy that the temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April, but the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement.
