UAE accuses “Islah Party”, Saudi Arabia of behind assassination of “Wissam Qaid” in Aden

ADEN, May 05 (YPA) – Khaled Al-Shumairi, head of the Abu Dhabi-based “Political Studies Center,” has leveled direct accusations against Islah Party and Saudi Arabia regarding the assassination of Wissam Qaid, the Acting Executive Director of the Social Fund for Development, who was killed on Sunday in Aden.

In a post on the “X” platform, Al-Shumairi linked the resurgence of systematic assassinations in the city to the return of Islah party activities.

He further claimed these operations are carried out under the auspices of what he described as a “failed Saudi administration,” accusing it of utilizing terrorist groups as part of its strategy in Yemen.

These allegations emerge amid a security breakdown and escalating political conflict over the administration of Yemen’s southern governorates.
