Sanaa begins disbursement of February 2026 state employee salaries

SANAA, May 03 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Civil Service declared on Sunday the launch of procedures to disburse salary entitlements for February 2026.

The came under the framework of the adopted exceptional mechanism to support public sector wage payments.

The two ministries stated that the financial allocations have been transferred to the Central Bank of Yemen, in preparation for distribution through postal offices and branches of CAC Bank, in accordance with approved payroll lists.

They added that the measures aim to ease living pressures, while reaffirming the importance of ensuring the sustainability of salary payments and linking them to oil and gas revenues to guarantee regular disbursement for all state employees.
