OCCUPIED QUDS, May 02 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that the total number of wounded admitted to hospitals since the outbreak of military hostilities with Iran on February 28 has risen to 8,564, following the registration of 15 new cases this past Friday.
The ministry explained in its statistical report that the northern front recorded 663 injured since the ceasefire with Iran came into effect on April 8, while the Lebanese front recorded 245 injured since the temporary truce there came into effect.
These figures emerge amidst a volatile regional landscape; the war with Iran resulted in over 3,000 deaths prior to a Pakistani-mediated truce.
Concurrently, despite the extension of a ceasefire on the Lebanese front, persistent violations continue to be reported in a conflict that has claimed 2,475 Lebanese lives and displaced over a million people to date.
