BEIRUT, May 2 (YPA) – Four Lebanese civilians were killed and others wounded on Saturday in Israeli shelling targeting southern Lebanon.
Lebanese sources reported that drone strikes targeted the towns of Kfar Dajjal and Shoukin, resulting in four fatalities and multiple causalities.
They added that Israeli fighter jets struck the towns of Froun, Adshit, Majdal Zoun, Ghandouriyeh, Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Harouf, Mleeta, Haboush, and Wadi al-Salouqi in southern Lebanon.
The death toll from the airstrikes targeting the southern town of Haboush has risen to eight, while civil defense and ambulance teams were forced to suspend rescue operations due to heavy drone activity in the area.
Earlier today, Israeli occupation army issued warnings to residents of nine villages in southern Lebanon, ordering them to immediately evacuate their homes and move at least 1,000 meters away.
The villages include, Qaqaiyat al-Jisr, Adshit al-Shaqif, Jebchit, Abba, Kfarjouz, Harouf, al-Duweir, Deir al-Zahrani, and Haboush.
Israeli occupation army launched more than 20 raids yesterday targeting the towns of Zawtar al-Gharbiya and Zawtar al-Sharqiya.
