Cuba: “Israel” continues to violate ceasefire in Lebanon, which threatens peace efforts in the Middle East

HAVANA, April. 22 (YPA) – Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez affirmed on Wednesday that the Israeli regime continues to violate the ceasefire in Lebanon, threatening peace and stability efforts in the Middle East region.

Rodriguez stated in a post on the X platform, that the Israeli bombing and destruction of buildings in southern Lebanon constitute a serious and repeated violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

He pointed out that “these attacks have resulted in the deaths of 2,454 people without any accountability, amidst the continued escalation.”

The Cuban Foreign Minister stressed the necessity for Israel to halt its attacks and adhere to the ceasefire, warning that these violations threaten efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the Middle East region.
