UN Special Rapporteur: Israeli army is “most degenerate,” death threats pursue me

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 19 (YPA) – The UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, described the Israeli occupation army as the “most degenerate army,” commenting on a video clip documenting the abuse of a Palestinian child by army personnel.

Albanese confirmed in an interview with “The Guardian” newspaper that she has been facing death threats and constant danger extending to her family since the publication of her report, in which she accused the occupation state of committing “genocide” in Gaza.

The UN Rapporteur explained that what has been happening in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, reveals a flaw in the international system that allows widespread violations to occur without accountability, noting that she was among the first international officials to use the term “genocide” to describe Israeli policies.
