Zionist settlers attack Palestinian community north of Jericho in West Bank

QUDS, April 18 (YPA) – A group of Zionist settlers on Saturday attacked the Bedouin community of Wadi Abu Al-Hayat, west of Al-Auja near Jericho in the occupied West Bank, in a new incident targeting Palestinian presence in the Jordan Valley.

According to the Al-Bidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, settlers stormed homes, conducted searches, and terrorized residents, including women and children, causing panic among the seven families living in the area.

The organization said the community has been forcibly displaced for the third time, as part of ongoing efforts to push residents off their land.

The attack comes amid a broader escalation, with Palestinian sources reporting thousands of violations across the West Bank and Jerusalem in recent weeks, including hundreds of settler-led assaults concentrated in areas such as Nablus, Hebron, and Ramallah.
