Death toll of Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 72,345 martyrs, 172,250 wounded

GAZA, April. 16 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, on Thursday, that the death toll from the Israeli genocide has risen to 72,345 martyrs and 172,250 wounded since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, the Gaza Health Ministry explained that hospitals received one martyr who succumbed to his injuries and eight wounded individuals during the past 24 hours.

It revealed that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs killed by enemy fire has reached 766, the total number of injuries 2,147, and the total number of martyrs recovered 760.

“Many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them at this time,” the ministry added.
