Iranian ships break US blockade and cross Strait of Hormuz

TEHRAN, April. 15 (YPA) – An Iranian container ship managed to break what it described as the “American blockade” and entered international waters, hours after a giant oil tanker and a cargo ship entered the Gulf region, Fars News Agency reported.

The agency explained that the ship continued its voyage without turning off its tracking device and is currently near the Pakistani coast.

Iranian media sources reported that another ship, named “Ghalban,” crossed the Strait of Hormuz despite US threats, noting that several Iranian ships passed through based on maritime tracking data.

For its part, Tasnim News Agency confirmed that the Iranian oil tanker “Alecia” crossed the Strait of Hormuz without hindrance, becoming the third Iranian vessel to successfully transit the strait.
