Iranian-Yemeni warning to Trump: Targeting Hormuz will cost you Bab al-Mandab too

TEHRAN, April 13 (YPA) – An informed Iranian source warned via Tasnim News Agency on Monday that any “folly” committed by US President Donald Trump against the Strait of Hormuz would lead to losing control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait as well, asserting that threats of a naval blockade have “lost all credibility.”

In a related context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa signaled that any new US escalation would disrupt global supply chains and the world economy.

The Ministry reaffirmed its forces’ readiness for “effective participation” in any upcoming regional confrontation, stressing that Washington’s efforts to restrict navigation or target the “Axis of Resistance” are destined to fail.
