18 civilians injured in Saudi escalation on Yemen border

SAADA, April 11 (YPA) – The Saudi Border Guard forces have continued their violations and attacks against civilians in Saada province’s border areas, causing serious injuries in recent days.

A report from Saada’s security authorities on Saturday stated that between April 1 and 10, Saudi border guards’ assaults resulted in eight Yemeni citizens and ten African migrants being seriously wounded due to gunfire and artillery shelling targeting border districts.

The report detailed injuries as follows: two citizens and two African migrants in Baqim district; two citizens in Shada; one citizen and three African migrants in Qataber; and three citizens and five African migrants in Manbeh district, all caused by artillery and direct fire.

All injuries were severe, with the wounded receiving urgent medical treatment at local centers.

Saada security condemned these attacks as blatant violations of international law and customs, categorizing them as systematic crimes against civilians in border areas and holding the Saudi enemy responsible for the ongoing violations.
