Hezbollah: Targeting of “Nabatieh Serail” is blatant assault on sovereign institution, forfeiture of national sovereignty
BEIRUT, April 11 (YPA) – Hezbollah issued a statement on Friday, condemning the Zionist enemy’s commission of a major massacre targeting the Government Serail in the city of Nabatieh, describing it as a continuation of the “Black Wednesday massacre.”
The statement confirmed that the attack resulted in the martyrdom of 13 members of the State Security apparatus, considering the shelling a blatant and dangerous assault on a formal, sovereign security institution.
Hezbollah noted that the enemy is persisting in its violation of Lebanon—its state, people, and institutions—aiming to break the will of the steadfast people and to cover up its significant failure on the battlefield.
Hezbollah leveled sharp criticism at the official performance, stating that this criminal aggression places the Lebanese State before grave responsibilities that cannot be evaded.
The statement highlighted the contradiction between the state’s attempts to “beg for direct negotiations under fire” and leaving true sovereignty prey to the enemy’s missiles and aircraft.
Hezbollah concluded its statement by warning that every concession offered to the enemy is met with further violation and destruction, emphasizing that the enemy is sending a message in blood: that everything is permissible before its aggression, regardless of the scale of concessions provided.
