Russian air defenses down 151 Ukrainian drones in overnight attack

MOSCOW, April 10 (YPA) -Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Friday that its air defense forces shot down 151 Ukrainian drones over several regions during the previous night.

In a statement, the ministry said 57 drones were destroyed over the Volgograd region, 48 over Rostov, and 35 over Belgorod, according to Russia’s Sputnik news agency.

It added that nine drones were intercepted over the Caspian Sea, while one drone each was downed over the Republic of Kalmykia and the Tambov region.
