Hezbollah launches multiple strikes against Israeli positions, settlements

BEIRUT, April 09 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, said it conducted multiple operations on Thursday, firing rockets and artillery at Israeli military positions and troop gatherings along the border.

In a series of statements released on April 09, 2026, the group detailed consecutive strikes carried out in defense of Lebanese territory and its people, amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression against the country.

The operations unfolded in the early hours of Thursday as follows:

At 02:30 on Thursday, in defense of Lebanon and its people, in response to the enemy’s violation of the ceasefire agreement, and after the resistance adhered to the ceasefire while the enemy did not, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the “Manara” settlement with a rocket barrage. This response will continue until the “Israeli”-American aggression against our country and our people ceases.

At 08:42 on Thursday, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a “Namer” vehicle in the town of Taybeh with a guided missile, achieving a direct hit.

At 08:45 on Thursday, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an “Israeli” force positioned inside a house in the Taybeh project with an attack drone achieving a direct hit.

At 10:00 on Thursday, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the “Kiryat Shmona” settlement, with a rocket barrage. This response will continue until the “Israeli”-American aggression against our country and our people ceases.

At 10:50 AM on Thursday, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the “Kiryat Shmona” and “Metulla” settlements with rocket barrages. This response will continue until the “Israeli”-American aggression against our country and our people ceases.
