BEIRUT, April 08 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Ministry of Health said Wednesday that 112 people were killed and more than 837 others were injured in Israeli strikes across the country.
Lebanese sources said the strikes targeted civilian areas in the southern suburbs and the capital Beirut, in Sidon, the South, and the Bekaa Valley, causing heavy destruction in residential areas and markets.
On the other hand, Hezbollah said in a statement that Israeli attacks on civilians would not go unanswered.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) called for an immediate halt to Israeli strikes on Lebanon, warning of a strong response to any violations of a ceasefire agreement and continued attacks.
