SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – The Ansarallah movement in Sanaa has signaled its potential use of the Bab al-Mandab Strait as a strategic leverage point to secure peace requirements and compensation for war damages.
Mohammed al-Fareh, a member of the movement’s political bureau, stated that the Bab al-Mandab Strait is no less significant than the Strait of Hormuz—which Tehran utilizes to lift sanctions.
He noted that asserting control over the strait is a path toward securing reparations for the destruction caused by the “aggression countries” (Saudi Arabia, UAE) in Yemen, suggesting that field operations remain the primary means to enforce their economic and political demands.
