Iran threatens strategic Gulf oil facilities in response to potential US escalation

TEHRAN, April 08 (YPA) – Informed Iranian sources told the “Tasnim” news agency that any “reckless move” by U.S. President Donald Trump would be met with a broad Iranian response.

This response could include targeting strategic oil facilities in the Gulf  states, most notably Aramco, Yanbu, and the Fujairah pipeline.

The sources emphasized that Tehran has prepared “surprise” retaliatory options designed to impose a heavy cost on Washington and its partners.

They further warned that any military action could drive oil prices to record highs, potentially reaching $200 per barrel.

The sources characterized recent U.S. threats as a reflection of “confusion and desperation” in the face of Iran’s field capabilities.
