Araghchi urges regional countries to uphold stability and avoid aiding aggression
TEHRAN, April 05 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that all countries, including regional states, have a responsibility to support peace and stability and to refrain from any assistance or complicity with Zionist-American aggression.
In a statement posted on the Telegram platform on Sunday, Araghchi said he discussed the ongoing US-Zionist military aggression against Iran, along with its regional and international repercussions, in a phone call with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Saturday.
He highlighted the unprecedented war crimes committed by the aggressors, targeting Iran’s industrial and production infrastructure, peaceful nuclear facilities, civilian areas, and residential neighborhoods.
Araghchi reiterated that all countries, including those in the region, must support peace and stability and avoid any form of complicity with the aggressors.
For his part, the Egyptian foreign minister reportedly underscored the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to help end the conflict.
On February 28, the United States and the Zionist entity launched a new wave of attacks against Iran, killing hundreds of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other civilian infrastructure.
In response, Iran carried out Operation “True Promise 4”, striking US and Zionist bases in the region.
