GAZA, April 04 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement early Saturday, launching airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting several areas in the eastern Gaza Strip, alongside heavy tank fire.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli shelling hit the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza before dawn. Meanwhile, Israeli tanks opened heavy fire east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Artillery bombardment also hit the eastern areas of Gaza City, with intermittent gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.
In addition, Israeli naval vessels opened fire toward the seashore of Rafah in southern Gaza.
East of the central Gaza Strip’s Al-Bureij refugee camp, Israeli military vehicles fired intensively, according to local sources.
The ongoing violations by the Israeli occupation army have resulted in the deaths of more than 716 people and left hundreds injured.
