Three PMF members killed in US airstrike in Iraq

BAGHDAD, April 02 (YPA) – Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Authority announced on Thursday that three members of the 53rd Brigade were killed in Tal Afar following a US airstrike targeting the unit.

In a statement carried by the official Iraqi News Agency, the authority said the death toll from the strike on the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF)’s Nineveh Operations (Brigade 53) in Tal Afar, west of Nineveh province, had risen to three after one of the wounded succumbed to his injuries.
