TEHRAN, April 01 (YPA) – The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Wednesday significant casualties among US forces following a series of military strikes targeting locations in the UAE and Bahrain, as part of what it described as the 89th wave of Operation ” True Promise 4.”
In the UAE, a statement from the IRGC’s Public Relations office confirmed the death of 37 US officers following an attack on a secret gathering site yesterday, noting that a large number of wounded were transported to local hospitals.
In Bahrain, the statement reported that a significant number of senior US Naval Unit officers were injured after a drone and ballistic missile strike targeted a site outside the Fifth Fleet’s perimeter in Manama. The injured were subsequently moved to city hospitals for treatment.
The IRGC specified that its naval forces conducted five large-scale operations using a combination of ballistic missiles, “Qadir” cruise missiles, and suicide drones. The attacks reportedly included the destruction of two early-warning radar systems in the UAE, the targeting of a “Chinook” helicopter maintenance center at the Al-Udeiri base, a strike on an Israeli-linked oil tanker in the Gulf, and an engagement with the “Abraham Lincoln” carrier strike group in the Indian Ocean.
There has been no official comment yet from US authorities or officials in the UAE and Bahrain to confirm or deny the reported casualty figures.
