Sanaa: Military intervention is “legitimate right” to counter Zionist plans, protect regional security

SANAA, March 28 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa declared on Saturday that direct military intervention by the Republic of Yemen is a “legitimate right” to counter “brutal US-Israeli aggression” targeting Iran, Palestine (Gaza), Iraq, and Lebanon.

In a statement, the ministry characterized these actions as part of a wider “Zionist scheme” aimed at establishing “Greater Israel” and a “New Middle East.”

The ministry stated that this position stems from “religious and moral responsibility” to halt aggression that undermines regional and global stability, noting the negative impact on the global economy and international trade routes.

The statement emphasized that military operations exclusively target the “Israeli and American enemy,” clarifying that no other nation will be targeted unless directly involved in the aggression.

Calling on Islamic nations to foil “Zionist plans,” the ministry expressed readiness to coordinate with Arab and Islamic countries to prevent misunderstandings and manage future developments.
