Journalist shot dead in central Taiz

TAIZ, March 27 (YPA) – A journalist was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in central Taiz, a city under the control of forces affiliated with the Islah party

Local sources said the journalist, Abdul-Samad Al-Qadi, was killed on Thursday evening after being shot by an armed assailant riding a motorcycle at the Sinan roundabout, while he was working at a commercial shop.

According to the sources, Al-Qadi suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital in the city for treatment, but later died of his injuries.

The assailant reportedly fled the scene to an unknown location. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
