TEHRAN, March 27 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of 83rd wave of Operation True Promise 4 deep inside the occupied territories and the place of deployment of terrorist US forces in the region.
According to the IRGC’s statement, the 83rd wave of Operation True Promise 4 was launched late on Thursday, under the codename of “Ya Imam Hussein (AS)” against positions of the Zionist regime and US bases in the region, using medium- and long-range systems, solid and liquid fuel, pinpoint and multi-warhead warheads, and destructive and loitering drones.
The IRGC stated that the operation targeted Ashdod oil storage tanks and warehouses, position of the Israeli occupation army in the town of Modi’in.
The statement added that the strikes included the US military Information Exchange Center in the region, terrorist US army bases in Al-Dhafra and Udairi.
According to the IRGC, the attacks also hit maintenance and repair hangars for transport aircraft and drones at Ali Al Salem Air Base, along with fuel storage tanks for US military aircraft and fighter jets.
The IRGC further confirmed that maintenance and Repair hangars for transport aircraft and drones at “Ali Al-Salem” airbase, fuel tanks for fighter jets of the US forces and the Patriot system maintenance and repair hangar at “Sheikh Issa” airbase were also hit.
On February 28, the United States and Israeli enemy launched a new aggression against Iran, which reportedly caused hundreds of civilian casualties and struck schools, hospitals, mosques, and other civilian infrastructure.
In response, Iran launched an operation dubbed ‘True Promise 4’ against Israeli targets and US bases in the region.
