SANAA, March 26 (YPA) – The Leader of Ansarallah, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that Saudi Arabia’s alignment with American and Israeli agendas has led to a very negative role toward Yemen, which is clearly reflected in its persistence in maintaining the state of aggression.
In a speech delivered this Thursday on the occasion of the National Steadfastness Day, Sayyed al-Houthi stated that “the former regime’s subservience in its relationship with the Saudi regime and its granting of concessions did not change the fact that the Saudi approach toward Yemen remained negative.” He added that this was further exacerbated by the Saudi regime’s link to American and Israeli agendas targeting the peoples of the region, foremost among them Yemen.
Sayyed al-Houthi explained that there is an insistence by the “Aggression Coalition,” led by the United States and its regional tools represented by Saudi Arabia, to control Yemen’s political decision-making. He further noted that Britain continues to play a significant role alongside the Americans and Israelis regarding the Yemeni file.
Sayyed al-Houthi revealed the motives of the ” aggression forces” to exert total control over Yemen, saying, “They want to control the management of our people’s affairs. Thus, the Saudis—under American supervision, British participation, and with the Israelis behind them—appoint presidents, as is the case with their mercenaries.”
He added, “What they are doing with the traitors among our countrymen is what they want to be the established status quo across all of Yemen. They want to appoint presidents, ministers, and officials, and completely control the army in a way that serves America, Israel, and Britain.”
The Ansarallah leader emphasized that the plan extends beyond the political sphere to include all sectors of the state, noting that “they want to control our country in all fields of life—political, cultural, social, and economic—in a way that serves them.” He clarified that “those who act under the titles of presidents and officials are intended to be mere subordinates to the ambassadors of America, Britain, and Saudi Arabia.”
He continued, “They want the administration of our country to lead to the destruction of our people, causing harm and weakening them through endless conflicts and crises.”
Regarding the economic file, Sayyed al-Houthi pointed out that the enemies “insist on controlling Yemen’s wealth and depriving our people of it, while the remaining crumbs are partially allocated to the corrupt traitors who serve them.”
He concluded by noting that the ultimate goal is to hinder Yemen’s development, asserting that “they want to control our country’s economy in general to keep our people dependent, subjugated, and miserable—unable to rise, achieve self-sufficiency, or transform into a productive nation.”
