Pentagon signs agreements with several companies to increase weapons, ammunition production

WASHINGTON, March. 25 (YPA) – The Pentagon said, on Wednesday, it has reached framework agreements with Honeywell, BAE Systems, and Lockheed Martin to increase production of several defense systems and munitions.

The department said it signed a framework agreement with BAE and Lockheed to quadruple production of THAAD interceptor missiles and accelerate production of precision-strike missiles.

It also signed a framework agreement with Honeywell to bolster America’s munitions stockpile.
