About 912 people killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon

BEIRUT, March 17 (YPA) – About 912 people have been martyred and 221 others wounded as a result the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon since March 2, according to Lebanese health authorities on Tuesday.

According to the daily report of the ministry, during the past twenty-four hours, 26 citizens were killed and 80 others injured as a result of intensive airstrikes targeting various areas of Lebanon, at a time when fears are growing that the confrontation would enter a fiercer stage.

The report noted that the victims included over 111 children and 67 women.

It also recorded an increase in casualties among health workers, with 38 killed and 69 injured.

The Israeli occupation has intensified its attacks on Lebanese towns, villages and cities in recent days, escalating airstrikes amid the ongoing conflict involving the United States and occupation against Iran.
