Iran arrests 20 “agents” of Israeli occupation

TEHRAN, March 16 (YPA) – Iranian authorities announced the arrest of 20 individuals in the city of Urmia (Northwest) on charges of leaking sensitive information regarding military and security sites to the Israeli occupation.

The arrested face charges of sharing security and military data with the “occupying entity” through communication networks uncovered by investigations.

Prosecutor “Hossein Majidi” confirmed the suspects have been imprisoned pending investigation, as part of intensified measures to counter foreign intelligence activities.

This move follows a recent announcement by the Ministry of Intelligence regarding the detention of over 30 individuals (including foreign nationals) accused of spying for American and Zionist intelligence agencies.
